INFO 450 - TECHNOLOGY-ENHANCED BUSINESS
(Formerly Electronic commerce) (On-line) A multidisciplinary course with a concentration on modern Internet-based technologies. The course is designed to introduce students to state-of-the-art skills that are in demand in the job market. The course allows students to choose between internal tracks or concentrations such as business, technology management, and software development (all with labs). Studied business models include such topics as security, payments, auctions, marketplaces, B2B, B2C, holistic architectures, and others. Technologies and software labs cover all aspects of modern e-business development from dynamic web sites and remote database access to XML-based design. Students develop a full featured e-business which can be continued as a start-up. This course operates in a distance learning mode, without scheduled class sessions. Help by appointment will be available. The course will be taught in a distance learning mode with several supporting in-class meetings. Lab Fee.
