ARTS 401 - ADVANCED DRAWING
This course is an advanced level drawing studio course. Students must have completed prior college level drawing instruction OR submit a drawing portfolio for review. The course objective will be to develop for each student a completed drawing portfolio, presented in a professional manner as required for admission to professional study, internship, employment, etc. No specific style or subject matter is "taught," rather the individual's own stylistic concerns and subject matter/thematic interests are used to define the required portfolio. Group critiques are an essential part of the learning experience in that each student will present -- for group and instructor discussion -- their work on a periodic basis. Portfolios must be matted and photographed for submission at the end of the term. Lab Fee.
